Host couple Sandra Larsen and Bjørn Lauridsen met in 2002 through the hospitality industry in Norway. Both were untrained at this time and used the hospitality industry to live out their gastronomic passions and not least to meet exciting people around the world.

It was not until 2010 that the host couple took their diploma through the well-known beach hotel Molskroen. With further inspiration from the charming French bistros and cafés in Aarhus, the host couple have put together a French/Nordic inspired kitchen, where good food from the right ingredients is prioritized over cosmetic raw material manipulation. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but if you prioritize raw materials and taste more, you get a lot for your money at ONE TEN Providence.

In 2014, the host couple opened their first restaurant in Southern Jutland. This was primarily about larger company and event restaurants with larger catering tasks alongside the daily café and restaurant operation. Every Friday you could reserve a place in the restaurants exclusively, with the opportunity to taste the food that was served to the parties. The concept was called Restaurant Le Gourmand, which was supposed to be an atmospheric meeting place for food lovers without too much etiquette - but rather a good atmosphere by being social around well-prepared food and good wine.

With the opening of Restaurant ONE TEN Providence in the summer of 2023, the host couple is focusing more on the popular evenings that the Restaurant Le Gourmand concept provided at their previous restaurants. It is still possible to hold small, exclusive parties at Restaurant ONE TEN. However, the restaurant only has room for around 50-60 diners at the same time. Although it doesn't sound like much, several have already experienced the advantage of the smaller and intimate parties - both together with other parties - and where you can rent the entire restaurant exclusively for your own event. Not the worst place to hold your family's New Year's Eve party with just a few minutes' walk to Town Hall Square...
